Quick answer
Vincent Marcinek is a photographer based in Montpellier who works regularly around Uzès, Nîmes and across the Gard and Provence. He photographs boutique stays, guest houses, estates and restaurants, as well as portraits and brand lookbooks.
Good for: boutique stays, guest houses, estates and restaurants that want clear, luminous pictures for a website, Instagram or a brochure; portraits and lookbooks.
Not for: rates and availability. We do not publish them: ask Vincent directly.

Style
His way of seeing
He photographs the South the way it is lived. Slowly. In the light that breaks at dawn, blazes at noon and fades into dusk. His images are clear and luminous, without artifice, and they show a place as it truly is rather than as a set.
Subjects
Places, tables and people
Interiors and exteriors, kitchens and dining rooms, the villages of the Gard, and natural-light portraits and lookbooks for designers and labels. He produces images for websites, Instagram and brochures.

Background
I'm a self-taught photographer. I learned the way one learns a language: through immersion, living among places and their light, season after season. Today I work with boutique stays, guest houses and restaurants in the South of France.
Alongside commissions, I work on personal series across the Mediterranean, from Minorca and the Greek islands to Italy and the South of France. They share one thread: quiet streets in Mediterranean light, where people are felt rather than seen, through a chair, a shutter or laundry drying in the sun. White walls, ochre stone, turquoise water, and the hour of the day as the real subject.

Specialisations
Hospitality, restaurant and lifestyle photography: boutique stays, estates, restaurants and their tables. I also photograph people, through portraits and brand lookbooks.

Areas

What makes my work distinctive
Clear, luminous images, with contrasts that are chosen rather than corrected. Nothing is staged: I photograph places as they are lived. I work mostly in natural light, and with flash at the table when a dish deserves it.
In his own words
Working with me
A single shoot or recurring content through the seasons, in photographs and short videos, for websites and Instagram.
